We just love this time of year as we are in the full swing of Christmas! From putting up bright lights to decorating the tree or frosting cookies to wrapping gifts, it is all part of the Christmas fun. However, we understand the process of searching and buying gifts for your loved ones tends to consume you with tiring shopping trips.

Thus, we want to make shopping this year a little easier for you! This Christmas themed homemade gift basket is not only easy to put together, but also saves you money and still shows how much you care for your loved ones. Plus, you can pack this gift basket full of multiple goodies or make several baskets for several people! Want to know what to put in a Christmas basket. Simply grab a small basket and follow along below to learn how to make the perfect DIY gift basket! 


This is a simple 15 minute craft with only a few ingredients needed. Plus, you can easily dress up this sugar scrub by using a mason jar and adding twine around the lid! 

What You Will Need

  • 1 cup of white or brown granulated sugar 
  • 1 small mason jar
  • Roll of twine *optional for decoration!
  • 1/2 cup of Jojoba oil *or other carrier oil 15-25 drops of P&J Trading Peppermint Fragrance Oil


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl until consistency is grain-like  
  2. Place finished product in a small mason jar 
  3. Wrap twine around the base of the lid


One of the best gifts is a warm and cozy candle that will leave your loved ones with a smile. This craft will take about 30 minutes to make and will leave your house smelling wonderful! 

What You Will Need


  1. Pour water into container intended for Christmas candle 
  2. Pour the water out of the container and into measuring cup and write down the measurement
  3. Place a determined quantity of soy wax into your double-boiler pot 
  4. Attach a wick tab on the bottom middle of your container 
  5. Place the wick on the tab and trim about 1 inch from the top of the container 
  6. Check the temperature of the melting wax
  7. Add 30ml of Mistletoe Fragrance at 185 degrees Fahrenheit 
  8. Warm container by running hot water on the outside 
  9. Check the temperature of the melting wax
  10. Pour the wax into a container at 150-160 degrees Fahrenheit 
  11. Let cool and place in a gift basket!


Another great addition to your Christmas gift basket! A perfect excuse for a loved one to relax and enjoy a calming bath with some alone time. 

What You Will Need


  1. Pour 1 cup of Epsom salt to your small mason jar 
  2. Add 15-25 drops of Candy Cane Fragrance Oil 
  3. Pour 1/4 cup of Jojoba carrier oil into the mixture
  4. Mix all ingredients together 
  5. Place lid on the mason jar and add twine


Whether you are making your gift basket for a guy or girl, this roll-on perfume is great for anyone who wants to smell amazing! Simply pick what P&J Trading Fragrance you think your loved one will like the best! 

What You Will Need

  • 5-10 drops of P&J Trading Fragrance Oil *check out our Masculine or Sweet scents!
  • 10ml roller bottle 
  • Fractionated coconut oil 


  1. Fill your 10ml roller bottle with fractionated coconut oil 
  2. Add 5-10 drops of P&J Trading Fragrance Oil 
  3. Place cap on the bottle, mix and place in the basket


This melt and pour Christmas tree soap will only take about 15 minutes and it is so cute! It is a great gift to tie off the basket for your loved one.

What You Will Need 

  • Shea Butter Soap Base *optional goat’s milk or coconut soap base instead
  • Green soap dye
  • P&J Trading Christmas Wreath Fragrance Oil
  • Geometric tree molds 
  • Glass measuring cup


  1. Cut up shea butter soap into small pieces 
  2. Place pieces in a microwave-safe measuring cup 
  3. Melt clear glycerin soap in the microwave for about 1 minute *check every 30 seconds 
  4. Add green soap dye and 10ml P&J Trading Christmas Wreath Fragrance 
  5. Stir until completely blended with the soap base 
  6. Pour soap into three molds 
  7. Let sit for 5 hours and remove from the mold 
  8. Wrap and place in a basket! 


Once all of your products are finished, simply place shredded paper at the bottom of the basket and then add your products!
